A shoebox gift box can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is significant. Gomer are delighted to support Gosport Rotary with collecting shoe boxes, again this year, to help children all over the world. The gift of a shoebox that contains toys, toiletries, educational items or household goods is a drop of happiness to the people of Eastern Europe who live in a world of poverty. For many, it will be the first present that they have ever received and it lets them know that somebody, somewhere cares.  We will be sending home a leaflet this week about how you can support the scheme – send in a completed box for example or a few items so we can make up the boxes in school – or £1 for the posting – pooling resources can make this a cheaper way to participate.
