• Championing ‘Trauma Informed Practice’ across the school and model effective restorative practice using the PACE approach (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy)
  • Supporting our children with their learning in class and promote positive learning behaviours by contributing to the identification of barriers to learning for individual children and provide them with a range of strategies for overcoming them
  • Providing 1-1 and group interventions through a range of arts therapy (play, sandplay, therapuetic conversations, art and crafts and games). We have a specialist ELSA, a Trauma Informed and Mental Health Practitioner and a Mental Health Practitioner, who all can support specific challenges: loss and bereavement, mental heatlh concerns, change of family circumstances, Zones of Regulation. 
  • Working in partnership with our families – signpost to other agencies and support meetings/ appointments from an educational perspective
  • Collaboration with other members of the team to develop positive behaviour management strategies to co-regulate and develop emotional resilience 
  • Attendance tracking and maintaining the importance of why attendance matters
