Today, to further enhance our arts curriculum, Y5 and 3KT attended a harp workshop. During the workshop they were taught the basics of harp playing technique, introduced to notation on the haro strings and, by the end of the session were able to play along to well known contemporary music. For most pupils, this was the first time they had experienced harp playing and the children and staff were inspired by the instrumen and the professional musician. It is very much hoped to open the experience to other classes in the future.
