This morning, 3LW took their learning to new levels in our Gosport STEM Centre. Children used WeDo LEGO to build and code little robots called Milo. They then adapted the Initial designs and engineered new models, to solve a problem. Some children redesigned Milo the robot to be able to deliver a pizza. Others made him a ‘bomb identifying unit’!
Engineering Habits of Mind were in full force as pupils were resilient through difficulties and worked hard to solve problems as they arose, as a team. Tomorrow, 3KT will take the short walk to the STEM centre to design their own Milo problem solving robot. The children loved learning in the fabulous STEM Centre and thrived in this environment.

Go 3LW! Go Gomer! Go GFM! Go STEM!
