Sad but necessary, our beaches need help keeping clean and Stokes Bay is no exception. Having learnt about the beach clean, from our Head Girl, many children and adults helped Friends of Stokes Bay litter pick on Saturday 12 October. It did not take long for Team Gomer to find lots of plastic which saddened us all. The main hub of volunteering was from Gomer Junior – thank you and well done to everyone who gave some time to help – especially as the weather was over-cast and drizzly. It was lovely to see some Y7 pupils from Bay House, formerly Gomer Junior, join us too. We hope to see even more of you at the next beach clean.
