The children who represented Gomer at the careers Marine UK event yesterday, on behalf of the GFM shared their experience in assembly today. The children learnt lots about the NLV Pharos (see separate post) where the event took place. The children spoke eloquently and passionately yesterday  to senior government figures about the importance of skills and in particular Engineering Habits of Mind in the curriculum. The Prime Minister attended the event in addition to the Defence Secretary and Maritime Secretary. The children have shared their experience and how they felt at different times during the day. They learnt lots too. The children and GFM felt privileged to be part of this experience and are grateful to the Solent LEP for inviting us. Go Gomer!
