This week there has been coverage on social media and the papers regarding a sinister character which is appearing online, popping up in adverts on YouTube, making its way into ‘age inappropriate’ games for junior children. The character is called MOMO and it is a pretty scary character. It tries to persuade children to self harm, harm others and do other horrible things, threatening to harm them if they don’t.
