We have received information from Elson Junior School regarding an incident that happened locally on Monday evening. A man presented himself at the doorstep of one of their families and asked to speak to their child by name. The man carried identification for a summer camp. This person was not from the school and had no connection with the school. The matter was reported to the police.

We ask that you are vigilant and if anyone presents themselves to you in a similar way, to call the police immediately.
