The school is lucky enough to be hosting a number of Chinese pupils for two days in July. The Chinese pupils will be placed in classes with the Gomer pupils in order to experience life in an English primary classroom.
This will be an excellent opportunity for both sets of pupils to start to gain an understanding of the other’s culture and to make friends- it is possible that the friendship could continue as a pen-pal relationship.
The company which is organising the experience is also offering Chinese themed workshops during the summer holiday. There is a flyer attached giving details of the event.
