Gomer Junior A team missed out on qualifying for the semi-final of the cup competition by 1 point. In order to reach the semi-final the team needed to finish in fourth place or above in the league. Their total of 43 points from 11 games left them in fifth place-1 point behind Grange Junior in fourth.
However, the team should be commended on excellent season which saw some hard earned victories and narrow defeats.
The B team finished in fourth position in their league. There is no cup competition for this league but again the team can be proud of their performance in all the games with some worthy victories.
There will be awards for players’ player of the season, managers’ player of the season and most improved player. These will awarded out later in the year.
