2018 is the Year of the Engineer! Grange Infant School, Gomer and Rowner Junior Schools have teamed up with the Royal Navy STEM ambassadors in an exciting partnership. This will not only offer our schools the opportunity to continue to strengthen links with our forces community, but also enable our children to work with ‘experts’ in the field of engineering. The ambassadors will join our children to give hands on experiences, through a series of workshops and joint design projects giving the children the opportunity to apply skills learnt in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, to real life contexts. We are excited to see the Royal Navy supporting our gSTEM learning.
