Sports Day 2017 was a great success on Monday 2 July. The children, who were well organised and keen to compete, participated in a range of races ranging from the sack race, space hopper race, football assault course, agility course, hockey and running races. The adults were not disappointed by the children’s good sporting attitude – fun was had by all. The Team Gomer v Parent/carer ‘tug of war’ was a new addition to Sports Day and some parents/carers competed in a 200m sprint – mobility scooters participated too! Well done to all who participated and an especially big WELL DONE to the children who received a year group sports award for a consistently positive approach to PE throughout the year. A further well done to the Green House who won Sports Day this year. With thanks to our PE Leader, Miss Holden and Mr Potter for organising us all.

A few picture highlights of our afternoon.
