Mrs Carré coordinated another successful Groundforce Day on Monday 19 June. The Gomer Growers, supported by other children in the school and their adults completed a variety of tasks to support the work that the Gomer Growers have been undertaking ALL year. The Growers, again, have been diligent and completed a variety of tasks all year to provided us with the beautiful planted areas at the front of school, the Olympic Meadow and the vegetable patches at the rear of school. The Growers allotment is looking especially lovely and creates a great base for the children. The planters near reception look stunning!

Our grounds will be inspected by the Gosport in Bloom judges this week – fingers crossed that the work is rewarded. With thanks to all those who gardened yesterday including the GFM Site Team who were a big help. Mrs Carré generously volunteers her time to Growers – the school are really grateful because the children benefit so much from the gardening sessions.

Please keep saving your Tesco tokens to help us secure the £4000 so that we can create a beautiful sensory garden.
