Today, Gomer Junior pupils from across the school represented us superbly at The News, We Can Do It Awards Ceremony. Unsure of who nominated us, our fabulous school was in the category for an ‘Environment Award’. Therefore, led by our Head Boy, it  seemed appropriate to be represented by several of our Gomer Growers and other helpful children too. The award focus was on our ‘Park and Stride Campaign’ but the school are well aware who much our Gomer Growers do to make our school look environment look beautiful.

With thanks to all children who gave their Sunday afternoon, in uniform(!), to attend. A big THANK YOU also to the children’s families for bringing their children to the event. The community spirit is much appreciated. We didn’t win an award but were delighted to have been recognised for playing an important part in our community. Mrs Mulhall and Mrs Toone felt very proud. Go Gomer!
