Today, Team Gomer spent the morning in Stokes Bay to plan and work through a variety of learning opportunities related to Beach Schools. The team:

• measured the mean depth of the tide
• conducted an experiment to show the densities of  salt and fresh water
• built shelters
• completed a history walk
• inspired each other with their art creations
• created a plankton catching device

Gomer Junior children can look forward to many opportunities at the beach in the forthcoming months. Y3 recently had a visit and benefitted from their beach learning experience.
