How busy we have been. Since February 2015, we have been extensively refurbishing our school. We are delighted with our smart our school looks and the amount we have achieved in such a short space of time. The school is looking great. It is important that we continue to look after it. In the event you have forgotten how we used to look, have a look at some of these photos:


To date we have:

  • refurbished the upper and lower school corridors – the pods have been a significant addition
  • refurbished The Learning Hub
  • refurbished the Library, creating a waiting area for reception and The LAPS Hub
  • refurbished Y4
  • refurbished 5ST
  • new LED lighting across the majority of the school
  • refurbished Y6 – three small classrooms made into 2 larger classrooms
  • refurbished The Music Room
  • refurbished The Staff Room
  • created a reception desk and waiting area
  • refurbished the front office and the HT and DHT Office
  • created a significant storage area in the hall
  • added lighting to the exterior of the whole building
  • installed a significantly sized and robust bicycle shelter
  • converted a storage cupboard into a Reprographics Suite
  • fitted new internal fire doors
  • fitted new internal doors around the majority of the school
  • replaced some windows at the front of the school
  • installed CCTV
  • created a new pathway at the front of the school
  • HC3S had a operational kitchen installed

This summer we are aiming to:

  • have the picnic area and seating area by the hall covered with artificial grass and new seating
  • refurbish Y3
  • refurbish the Y4 girls toilets
  • decorate 5GS
  • decorate the hall

In the next year we are aiming to:

  • further develop our ground
