Last term, Y4 entered some stories into BBC Radio 2’s Short Story Competition. The BBC received 123, 400 entries. Our very own Eva Ashton has impressed the judges. Her story, 99% Effective has been picked – as one of just 4,500 – to go to the Reading Agency for the second round of judging. Wow!

Well done and good luck Eva! We are so very proud of you and were delighted to celebrate your success in assembly today. The certificate , presented to Eva today, was provided by the BBC. The BBC will be back in touch in early May to let us know if 99% Effective has been shortlisted for the Final 50.
