Gosport Cultural Education Project
Learning at The Grange launched a 3 year project in partnership with the Hampshire Cultural Education Partnership and Hampshire Music Service to bring together children and young people from across Gosport, to celebrate their heritage and culture through innovative cross-arts engagement. In Spring 2023, over 200 young people (GFM learners from Bay House, Brune Park, Gomer Junior and Rowner Junior) examined their own local heritage, responding with their own creativity Watch this short film to find out more about what we’ve been up to in Gosport. Our children did not make it to the video but you can watch our family school learners from Bay House, Brune Park and Rowner Junior perform – the Rowner section gives you an idea of how our children learned.
