Gomer was immersed in science learning on Friday to mark the end of British Science Week. Our Science Leader, Mrs Gardner hosted an engaging and interactive assembly and science learning followed. Do you know what it means if something is viscous? Not everyone at Gomer knew this until Science Day on Friday. Viscous means sticky, gluey and syrupy. So if something is viscous, you usually don’t want to stick your fingers in it. Something viscous is not quite a solid or a liquid – scientists like to say that viscous things don’t flow very easily. The children’s viscous experiments allowed them to investigate the viscosity of different liquids. Watch this space – lots more super science learning to be shared…
