This time last week, three of our pupils competed in a Hampshire cross-country race in Basingstoke. With thanks to Leah, Parker and Alfie who represented the school superbly. The children had to compete against 300 runners (150 girls and 150 boys). The course was challenging and the muddy conditions made the run much trickier. Despite these obstacles, the children should be proud of their runs. The three children competed in the U12 category – super brave of our boys who are aged 9 and 10. Leah placed 59th, Parker 109th and Alfie 113th – they were competing against children who run for county – we could not be prouder of them. With thanks to parental support – without, their attendance would not be possible.
