The Citizenship Club book and cake sale, in support of the Lee-on-the-Solent Library, was a big hit on Friday! You raised £150.48 for the library –  £109 was from the cakes you kindly donated and bought – thank you. The volunteers from the library were so pleased to see the children’s excitement – they said they were more excited about buying the books than they were about buying the cakes!  Christine said how amazingly helpful the Citizenship Club children were and how well-behaved and polite all of the children were throughout the afternoon. The volunteers have sent a huge THANK YOU for the money raised – we’ll update you when we are given a total.
