The Chinese Lantern Festival, also known as Yuan Xiao Jie or Shang Yuan Festival, falls on the 15th day of the Chinese New Year – traditionally, it marks the end of the Chinese New Year celebration. Today, the global Chinese community will be celebrating the Shang Yuan Festival. In preparation for the festival and as part of their learning, Year 4 learned about the festival and used their knowledge to complete a variety of related craft.
