We are pleased not to have a culture of bullying at Gomer Junior. School life is not without incidents of crossed words and upset but we do not tolerate bullying. Our feedback tells us that children will inform an adult of situations that they are uncomfortable with and there are systems for addressing these. Teaching children how to be kind and respectful to others is an integral part of our curriculum. Children are having more and more access to digital devices. Therefore, teaching them to stand up to cyberbullying and helping boost their self-esteem are all important when it comes to confronting issues around bullying. We started the week with an online Big Assembly which revisited key messages and supported learning during the week.
