LDID 2021 was a great success. The children were really busy and engaged in a variety of activity including: den building, the Gomer Mile, coat of arms to introduce themselves to their new teacher vai a class display, shifted and lifted books to their new classrooms and the inside assault course which is always a big hit. Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic morning exploring all our gymnastic equipment – this is the first time they have been able to use the hall to experience this. Each class at a time had an opportunity to climb high, find their way through the caves, traverse along slippery slopes and balance across the crocodile infested waters. The children showed their creativity in finding a number of different ways to complete these tasks – all whilst beaming from ear to ear. We look forward to the children having further opportunities next year to build on these fundamental sport skills.
