2020 has been an interesting and challenging year, but, we have achieved so much as a community. With our community spirit there is lots to look forward to in 2021. For example, Team Gomer are pleased to be welcoming the children back to school on Monday 4 January. To find out what your child will be learning in the Spring Term 2021 please visit the year group curriculum pages which can be found on the website, under the menu ‘curriculum’.

We continue to focus on safety. Our classrooms will continue to be well ventilated, and due to the recent drop in temperature, layers of clothing are recommended. To reduce congestion around the back of the school, at the start of the day, children are to wait briefly on the blue playground, before being chaperoned to class by the teacher (rather than a parent/carer). You will continue to see staff wearing masks on the playground – parents/carers are strongly encouraged to do the same. We will monitor space available, at the back of the school, at the end of the day. We visit our risk assessment regularly. We will sign-post any changes to you.

So, as we approach a new year, to be positive, let us know what you are looking forward to. Wishing you and our immediate community, a happy and safe new year.
