With thanks to Asda for inviting our Y5 and Y6 pupils to send cards to local veterans and those in care homes and hospital. In time for Christmas, the cards have made their way to Gosport War Memorial Hospital, Thorngate Living, Glen Heathers care home, Brendoncare, First Light Trust, Veterans Outreach and Shore Leave Haslar. Rachel Webber, community champion at Asda in Gosport, said: ‘We have been really amazed and proud of how our community has come together to help us spread a bit of Christmas cheer.’

Gomer are always keen to support some of our most vulnerable in our community. We were unable to visit and sign Christmas Carols to residents in care homes or hospital this year so the card making was a lovely alternative. And one we think will bring happiness to many. Go Gomer!
