To finish the term with further festive cheer, and with thanks to our fabulous FROGJS fundraising, the children enjoyed watching the King’s Theatre 2020 pantomime – Dick Whittington. Aware that some children may not have the opportunity to attend a panto this year and with a keenness to support the arts, we were delighted that the FROGJS treated us all to this performance, through the screen, in our classrooms. Cheers and laughter could be heard across the school this morning. The children certainly had fun and made a superb audience. To add to the full ‘theatre’ experience the children thoroughly enjoyed little pots of delicious Jude’s ice cream. With massive thanks to the Alverbank Hotel for ordering and delivering our ice-creams and sorting this all for just the list price.
