We love rainbows at Gomer and not only did we make a rainbow out of fresh food in our Harvest Celebration, we were able to make a Harvest Rainbow out of the generous food donations provided by the children. We are donating the food gifts to Crisis Food for Gosport . Dee, our School Cook works voluntarily for the organisation and was so pleased. She shared the news with the charities founder Charlotte who said’

‘Thank you Gomer Junior. This is an amazing gift. The food will be made up into hampers which we share with families across Gosport on a Friday.’

In addition to making the food rainbow in our Bubble assemblies, we talked about the symbolism of rainbows: patience, blessings and hope. We linked this symbolism to harvest, diversity, a good diet the NHS and having a positive outlook in life. With thanks to you all for your donations.
