Our pupils face many challenges in the world they are growing up in, some of these are very new, some are very local, but one challenge that many young people are understandably concerned by is the ongoing international challenge of climate change. Wednesday was Earth Day 2020. Had we been in school, we would have been engaging in learning about the factors affecting climate change and the impact we can have as individuals. We had a super video shared in our Google Classrooms with you on Wednesday. We had to remove it mid-morning because the access rights changed and it stopped being free. Sorry.  We have previously learnt lots about plastics. You may wish to engage with the activities linked to Earth Day in your child’s Google Classroom.
