Each Year group then had some activities to complete in class to explore online identity further. Lower school created their own emoji avatars that represented who they are, without giving away their true identity. Upper school discussed and created posters (both online and offline) about what the internet would be like if they were #Freetobe whoever they wanted to be when online. Year 6 also focused on individual responsibility online and debated the idea that even though our online identity may be different to who we are in real life, we are still responsible for the things we say and do online.

The whole school took part in creating a doodle roll of things that are okay and not okay to share online, and some pupils were filmed talking about Online Safety. We hope to be able to share a film of the day with you soon.
