In our Advent themed assembly, on Monday, the children were introduced to our whole school ‘Random Acts of Kindness Calendar’. Each class has a calendar which encourages the children to do something kind for someone else. The children explored the concept of ‘advent’ and discussed some of the ways they are building up to Christmas. Our school Christmas Card post boxes opened on Monday and the hall displays and school decorations are looking very pretty. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…. Roll on the Christmas Tree Festival.
