Y3 have thoroughly enjoyed their Stone Age learning. Their recent reading of the book ‘The Stone Age Boy’ encouraged them to think about what a person living in the Stone Age would eat. Their Home learning enabled some further research and the children became ‘gatherers and hunters’ to enable a fabulous feast today. The children tried an array of foods and were really brave to try foods they may  not normally eat. Favourite tastes included: quail eggs (boiled), honey, anchovies, mint, berries and meats. With thanks to our parents and carers who supplied goodies for the feast.
