Steve from Stubbington Tree Care and his team kindly offered to demonstrate the art of tree surgery as part of our Grounds Force Day 2019. Ropes were carefully thrown into the tree and connected to the climbers, who both wore harnesses and helmets. It didn’t take them long to climb high! The children loved the demonstration and it has certainly encouraged some to want to become the tree surgeons of the future – all part of our careers promotion.
