The sun is shining! We wish you a very happy Bank Holiday Monday whatever you decide to do. There is lots happening in Gosport today. Following on from the whole school half-term learning task, linked to the 75 years of D Day commemorations,  you may be interested in going to the Explosion Museum today. They are hosting a FREE family event from 11am today. The event details outline:
Join us for a special Living History event this May Day Bank holiday as we commemorate D Day 75 at Explosion, Museum of the Naval Firepower. The event is free and includes free entry to the museum all day. There will be plenty to see and do with our D Day reenactors, Portsmouth model boat display with an explosive display depicting the beach landings. 
Meet the women of Explosion who helped with preparations for the Normandy invasion and take part in our family fun ‘Make Do and Mend activities from potato printing to making your own lavender bag. There will be a chance to handle objects from the D Day Story, Portsmouth and discover more about plans for Landing Craft Tank 7074, a survivor from 6th June.
