School Crossing Patrol Staff, or (Lollipop men and women) do a wonderful job, in all weathers, keeping our children safe on the roads. At Gomer Junior, we value greatly the two Lollipop staff who help GFM pupils cross on Gomer Lane.
Parents in the Gosport Community have started a campaign regarding cuts to the School Crossing Patrols. Unfortunately Hampshire County Council has made the decision to NOT replace the School Crossing Patrol outside Brune Park School ( Military Road).  This could have a devastating effect on the children’s safety.
We have printed off a petition and hope that the Gomer community will collect lots of signatures to send to HCC. Our JRSOs and Team Gomer will be out collecting signatures on the playground – if you miss them please do sign the petition on the reception desk.
