We love the Christmas Tree Festival, hosted annually by St. Mary’s Church in Alverstoke. The School Council decorated our tree on Wednesday with decorations made by twigs from our woodland area. We have a different theme every year and link it to a school focus. Everything on the tree was within the ‘reduce, recycle, reuse’ theme; highlighting our commitment to being further environmentally friendly. Y3 visited the festival on Thursday and loved every tree. They quickly spotted our tree due to its blue lights and large Gomer G which is our tree topper. The School Choir sang in a concert yesterday afternoon and the atmosphere was incredibly festive. The festival is open to the public all over the weekend and we encourage you to visit if you haven’t already.
