With thanks to all in the community who park considerately and safely. Our JRSO Team, with the support of Team Gomer and Mr Brewer (parent) have been patrolling outside school, at the start and end of the day this week, to help remind some in our community where to park safely e.g. not on corners or the zig zag lines and not to park whilst allowing engines to run, Highway Code Rule 123. The JRSO Team have reinforced the rules and issued a few parking tickets this week. They shouldn’t have to do this at all but have shared, again, some important reminders. Ultimately, we are trying to keep everyone safe. Some parents/carers have been apologetic and outlined they have learnt. Some adults receiving information and polite requests to moved have been very rude to the JRSO Team. Despite this, the school are very proud of how polite they have been in their dialogues and perseverance to keep us all safe. Well done team. We do hope you will join us in encouraging the JRSOs when you see them out and about.
