Our annual Winter Warmer was supported well by Y3 who enjoyed being read to by Miss Barnes and Mrs Wheal. The children, dressed in their PJS enjoyed biscuits and hot chocolate too. Whilst the children enjoyed their stories the adults spent some time with Mrs Kerr revisiting and acquiring further tips to support children with their reading to bring about fluency and understanding of texts read. They later joined their children and enjoyed the reading time together. Mrs Kidd organised us all again really well and loves her library role because she loves to see children reading – for pleasure and learning.
