Our Y4 mixed team tennis finalists competed today at the Hampshire Games. This huge event allows all finalists across Hampshire to play each other in order to be selected for further county competitions.

After a long drive to Aldershot Military Stadium, the squad were keen to show off their ceremony flags in the school’s parade. To have so many children and adults there, alongside music and laughter was exhilarating!

Soon after, they started their tournament, where they played single matches of 10 minutes. The talent was incredible with many other school’s competitors playing for clubs outside of school.

Gomer’s team showed relentless effort, much improvement, especially with serving and collaboration to be proud of.  Although they didn’t come with a medal this time, they had an incredible day and even an ice cream!!

Well done Emily, Jack, Lenny and Suzy! We are very proud of you and you represented our school superbly.
