We have seen an increase in cases of nits in school. Please check your child’s hair, at least once a week, in an attempt to ‘catch’ the lice eggs before they hatch. Once checked, repeat the actions to ensure that they cycle has been killed. Thank you to your for tying long hair back – it looks smart and can help with reducing the spreading of lice. Nits is a common problem in schools but with your vigilance and  proactive response cases can be reduced. It is not pleasant for children to be scratching as this can cause discomfort. Please do check your child’s hair even of they do not show specific symptoms. Thank you for your support.
