Gomer is delighted to have developed a very special relationship with our local diving museum which is located in the Victorian No. 2 Battery in Stokes Bay. The Gosport Diving Museum is overseen by The Historical Diving Society and situated  at the end of Stokes Bay (Bayhouse end). We have built this relationship in part to our Beach Schools learning and for recognising the importance of supporting this superb local museum. With thanks to the museum who have donated some free tickets to enter the museum – they will be included in the May Fair raffle this week. Mrs Toone is now on the museum’s committee, upon invitation and will continue to maintain our links. She has generously volunteered some of her time.  We are excited about working with a very committed group of local people. This excitement was highlighted in our whole school approach to the muesum’s art competition. Entries were welcomed from all children across Gosport. If you missed the article in The News today, please read below. Please do visit the ‘UNDERWATER’ Art Exhibition in half term.
