Several weeks ago we took 5 engineering teams from our gSTEM club, to the Regional finals of the Bloodhound SSC rocket Car competition at RAF Odiham. All of our young engineers were commended on their engineering abilities and performed to a very high standard against competitors much older than themselves on the day.

We are now very excited to announce that our two winning teams from the day have been invited to combine as one team of 4 and compete in the National Finals of the event! On 29th June we will watch Jake Adcock, Michael Rignall, Jessie Laver and Ruby Hobbs independently design, make and then race their rocket cars at the Santa Pod Raceway. Between now and then we will be ensuring they are up to speed with super-car designs so they can race for the line at pace. Wish them luck!
