You may have read in the papers last week that our local YMCA nursery was subject to a break in and vandalism. Many of the children’s toys were damaged and the building was left in quite a state. You may or may not be aware that one of our Y5 parents is the manager of this super nursery provision. Regardless of this link, we would like to extend our Gomer community spirit to the nursery or suffered much damage and loss. It was Gomer who approached the nursery having seen the article about the break in in the paper. They would be delighted to receive donations of:’

• balls
• out-door equipment
• dressing up cloths
• small world resources

If you can help by making donations of the above, please send them into school on Monday 23 January – not before please as we lack storage space. Please send in good quality and clean items into school in a carrier bag. We will arrange to have the items delivered or collected. In anticipation of your support with this, thank you.
