Today, Y4 celebrated Advent with a Christingle Service, led by the Rev. Andy. Ahead of the church service, the children each made a Christingle which they learnt about in their RE unit of learning. Here is a big THANK YOU to the Co-Op on Queen’s Parade who provided the oranges and sultanas. During the service several children shared prayers, all sang and the choir in particular sang beautifully, Mrs Mulhall and Mr Potter gave a Christingle talk. So far, Y4 have collected £124.52 for The Children’s Society and they are still collecting! Well done Y4.
