On Friday 15 July, Mrs Carré and Mrs Mulhall were very proud to escort 5 of our 12 Gomer Growers to the Gopsort in Bloom awards – this was the first time we entered. We entered three categories and won an award in two of them:

Best Container Garden – Gold

Best Decorative Feature – Silver

Best Edible Garden – Certificate of Excellence

Fred Dinenage presented the awards. We couldn’t resist a selfie…. Inspired by the awards, the Growers will be entering more of the categories next year. Congratulations to neighbouring schools for the successes. Thank you to the Growers, their friends and parents/carers for supporting the work. Gomer has never looked so beautiful.
