We were joined by over 30 excited Y3 on Thursday 21 January, who returned to school late afternoon in their PJs. The children were treated to hot chocolate and biscuits whilst being read to by Mrs Wheal and Mrs Kidd. All ladies, including Mrs Bottriell looked dashing in their PJs. At the same time, Mr Woolway (not in his PJs) presented to the parents/carers about the importance of reading, how school develop reading, how to further support at home and the standard the children will need to operate at in Y6. Towards the end of the session, the children chose a book from a healthy selection and shared this with their adult. With thanks to Mrs Kidd for organising this super annual Y3 opportunity. We are very lucky to have staff who give their time willingly to provide such opportunities. With thanks to ALL parents/carers and children who attended. The school appreciate your support.
