It was wonderful to see the children dressed up as their favourite book characters yesterday. Please see the photographs of the winning costumes, chosen by the school pupil librarians. We have plenty more photos to follow. The children enjoyed reading a book of their choice and sharing it with their friends. Many children supported the book swop and went home with a ‘new’ book to enjoy. Our end of day celebration assembly was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the different reasons for reading and how lucky we are to have the opportunity to read. The school are grateful to Mrs Kidd (School Librarian) and Mr Woolway (English Leader) for organising our day. Thank you to all parents / carers for supporting the children with their wonderful costumes.
