Mr Allen and representatives of many trades were very busy over the half term break, transforming our two shared areas and our new ‘Learning Hub’ where Mrs Hampton is based. Mr Allen in particular has worked really hard to benefit the development of our school. The shared areas have been decorated, carpeted and fitted with new lights, pegs, learning pods and new storage and washing facilities. We still have a little decorating to complete and finishing touches to add to the walls which will be completed over the next few weeks. We are delighted with the project which has radically transformed two key spaces in our school. The staff and governors gathered this morning to officially ‘open’ the area. The project marks the start of a Gomer Junior regeneration plan. We are hoping to transform the front offices and reception area during the Easter holiday.
We welcome Mr Downing to Gomer Junior today. Mr Downing is the newest member of the Gomer Staff Team and will be working acorss Y3 in the mornings. We are delighted that Mr Downing has joined the team. Please do introduce yourself to him.
