With thanks to everyone who donated a Love in a Shoebox, a scheme organised for us by the local Gosport Rotary Club. The gifts kindly donated were collected on Friday 7th November. The gift of a shoebox that contains toys, toiletries, educational items or household goods is a drop of happiness to the people of Eastern Europe who live in a world of poverty. For many, it will be the first present that they have ever received and it lets them know that somebody, somewhere cares.  We plan to take part again next year.
A member of our local community donated a large selection of home made hats and mittens. With thanks to Mrs Edwards for making them and Mrs Pullinger for getting them to us. Can you see the photo of some of the staff modelling them? The gorgeous and warm hast and mittens are now travelling to Eastern Europe.
