Gomer Junior and Gomer Infant school were delighted to host their annual firework display on Tuesday 4th November on our rear field. This was the third successful firework event organised by the FROGJS and POGOS (PTA). The display was thoroughly enjoyed by over 600 members of the community. Everyone was really impressed with the range of fireworks and duration of the display.
The children and adults looked great in their ‘glow’ efficiently organised by the POGOS, alongside some tasty refreshments and treats. The FROGJS had spent considerable time with Glitter Events preparing for the evening. In fact, preparations began in May. Thank you to all involved, to our marshalls on the night, our Head Girl for opening the event and leading the countdown and most importantly to everyone who showed their support by joining us.
We are looking forward to another Glitter Events firework display next year. With final thanks to Glitter Events for the display and for providing the children with an assembly outlining the history behind fireworks and  safety needs.
